last weekend was perfect. my suitemate, aimee, and i went to tuscaloosa to see band of horses and the avett brothers. both bands played every song i wanted them too, plus more. when colorshow started playing, aimee and i just looked at each other and started screaming like little girls. i've never experienced anything like it - i would comment "i hope they play will you return," and it would be the next song. it happened SO many times, and they even played some of my favorites i wasn't even thinking of. afterwards, we found a hole in the wall burger joint which was quite tasty. saturday morning we had to get up early and head back to the mountain for my assistant proctor meeting. saturday afternoon, i went hiking around morgan's steep and enjoyed the sun. I wasn't planning on doing anything that night, and somehow got dragged out - but surprisingly had a great time and hung out with lots of great people. hopefully this weekend will be just at exciting!
